GEARhub Protection ensures that you’ll receive a refund if you are a victim of a fraudulent Scam,
or if the Gear you purchased doesn’t match its description.
Report any issues within 7 days of delivery and our team will help you take care of it. While tons of gear arrive each year as expected, we know that issues can occur.
What’s covered under GEARhub Protection ?
- To qualify for GEARhub Protection, all orders must be carried out directly through GEARhub – including record of both payment and shipment.
- Any issues with your purchase on GEARhub must be reported within 7 days of the item being marked as delivered (or within 14 days of the anticipated delivery date if the item isn’t delivered).
You’re eligible for a refund if your gear is :
- Significantly different from how it was described.
- Part of a fraudulent order or scam.
- Denied for a refund within the seller’s return policy.
What isn’t covered under GEARhub Protection?
- Issues reported after 7 days from delivery (or after 14 days of the anticipated delivery date in the case of non-delivery)
- Off Site Transactions.
- If you change your mind and request a return outside of a seller’s return policy.
- Issues reported on forwarded or re-shipped packages.
How does GEARhub protect BUYERS ?
GEARhub Protection ensures that Buyers receive a refund if the gear you purchased doesn’t match its description. All you have to do is report any issues within 7 days of delivery and our team will make sure you’re taken care of.
Here’s how it works:
Most issues are easily resolved directly with the seller. When you message the seller or request a refund, provide photos and/or videos of the issue and keep all communication.
If you don’t hear from the seller within 24 hours, contact GEARhub Support. Send pictures of any damages.
How does GEARhub protect SELLERS ?
Secure payments :
Our payments platform ensures that Sellers can safely receive their money, which is why we ask buyers to always pay through GEARhub and never wire money or pay others off platform. GEARhub ensures sellers receive their payment within our standard payment timelines, and all bank information is encrypted to ensure complete security of your personal information.
GEARhub Seller Protection :
All sales completed through the GEARhub website qualify for GEARhub Seller Protection. Simply be sure to :
- Keep the sale on the GEARhub platform. We’ll need records of both Payment and the Shipment.
- Communicate any issues to GEARhub within 7 days of the item being delivered.
- Keep all communication in writing on GEARhub. We can’t step in on arrangements made outside of GEARhub.
