Made in Japan the Ibanez Axstar headless bass was introduced in the mid 80’s.  Made in Japan the Axstar series features a tailpiece tuning mechanism located on the body behind the bridge rather than on the headstock. It has a smallish, offset double-cutaway solid alder body with a bolt on maple neck, a 24-fret ebony fingerboard & dot position markers. Electronics include dual Ibanez active Lo ZB humbucking pickups and a fixed bridge. Cosmic Blue finish !
